Today I want to discuss several different options you have when it comes to this type of deck furniture, also talk about what you can expect to pay under the different price ranges and explain how much furniture you can get for your hard-earned cash. Also I’ll talk about deals and where to find them if I have time. So let’s dive right in.

Outdoor Bistro Set – 3 Piece Patio Furniture Set ASIN: B0026O76JQ this is a nice smaller size set it comes with two chairs and a smaller table. It is black antique pewter and the table is pub table height. I’ve always enjoyed wrought iron patio furniture which made this set instantly attractive to me. The chairs are what you might call bar stool height and the whole set reminds me of an outdoor café set. At only $250 for the entire set, you can’t go wrong.

Parkland Heritage La Fleur Series 3 PC Bistro Set this set screams old world charm and at only $150 it’s an awesome deal! It is made from rust free cast aluminum it has a white look and it comes with a table and two chairs. Victorian is the word that comes to mind when I look at this set. All and all, a very nice little set for you.

Strathwood Cast Aluminum Garden Bistro Set at $200 I really like the look of this set. It comes with two chairs and table that are black in appearance and have a very substantial heavy look to them and if you look closely you’ll notice dark bronze flecks throughout which gives a more upscale look. While this set looks heavy it’s actually quite light weight. The open scroll design work on the chairs is beautiful as well as functional.

Strathwood Ritta All-Weather Wicker 3-Piece Bistro Set at $229 this is a very stylish and contemporary set. It comes of course with two chairs and a table that are wicker but they don’t really seem like wicker. They’re made of tightly woven polythylene resin wicker and their color can only be described as warm mocha. They have durable aluminum legs with a dark gray powder coating. The chairs and table folds for easy storage in winter. Very nice set.

Bistro patio furniture isn’t for everyone, but if it is for you, then you have many different options and the ones I listed today just barely scratch the surface of what you can expect to find however the price ranges that I discussed are fairly standard for this type of patio furniture.

Today I want to discuss this brand of patio furniture in fairly good detail and I want to discuss several different lines that you can find and I want to talk about the price ranges you can expect to run up against so that you know you’re getting the best deal. I’ll also try and show you how to get the best deal! So let’s dive right in and get to work…

The first thing that I think about when equipping a patio with furniture are chairs and a good solid table. Sure you’re going to need a few more pieces than that, but chairs and a table will get you started and are a great central theme from which to work with. So that’s where I will start today.

Tropitone offers a wide variety of chairs with a little something for everybody’s tastes and preferences. Before we go any further I want to say quick word about price. This brand is not cheap and in fact you’re going to be hard pressed to find anything more expensive on the market. So don’t pass out when you hear these prices but for a good patio chair from these guys, you can expect to pay anywhere from $200 per chair up to eight or $900 per share… or higher, sometimes as much as $2,000 for single chair. If you’re still with me, good.

Before I get into any further specifics I want to say a word on tables because I find that a patio table is fairly important to the overall design of your deck and how you want the patio to feel. Luckily the tables in this line of furniture are not quite as expensive as the chairs, though they’re still pretty darn expensive. You can expect to pay anywhere from $800 up to $1500 or so for a table but luckily you only need one unlike chairs where you’ll need four or even eight or more.

Of course, that price is for your average round smaller table. If you want a longer more formal seeming dining room type patio table you can expect to pay easily $2,000 to $3,000 or more depending on how fancy you want to go.

For instance the Tropitone 1836SBU Boulevard 36″ Aluminum Dining Umbrella Table is a very nice sort of basic aluminum looking patio table with space for maybe four people to scrunch together or at least hold their drinks. This table runs at about $830 and is sort of a standard table that you will find from this company at that price range.

On the other hand, the Tropitone 4284SBU Boulevard 84″ x 42″ Aluminum Dining Umbrella Table is a longer more formal type dining table for your patio that can easily seat many guests comfortably but costs around $2,100 and is sort of a standard table at this higher price range.

Add to that eight chairs at $600 each and you begin to see what I was talking about when I mentioned that this is not the cheapest brand of patio furniture out there! But if you’ve got the money then they are certainly worth it in the long run.

There’s just something about tropitone patio furniture that makes the price seem worth it to many people. A touch of elegance combined with innovative technology makes this patio furniture something that will hold up for years to come and provide you with infinite enjoyment.

Martha Martha Martha! She’s on TV, she’s in magazines, she’s on the news, she’s selling this, she’s selling that, she’s going to jail for insider trading and then coming back as strong as ever… she is an indomitable spirit to say the least! But we don’t really care about all that, what we really care about today is her line of patio furniture and whether or not you should invest your hard-earned money paying for it.

The thing about the Martha line is that they look really nice when you buy them, as you would expect them to coming from Ms. Stewart. The question becomes whether or not they hold up over time and the jury is still out on that one but there is evidence to suggest that they may not hold up as well as you would like them to. There have even been some consumer advocacy group complaints that the furniture actually explodes in certain circumstances.

I’m not making that up, it’s not something you could make up because it sounds too silly but it’s true. Many people have reported that their glass table tops have suddenly just burst into tiny pieces of glass or cracked right down the middle for absolutely no apparent reason whatsoever. One woman explained that she was sitting in her home when she heard a loud crash that scared the begesus out of her, Only to find out that it was her patio table top that had burst with a loud crack!

Now obviously this doesn’t mean that all Martha Stewart furniture is going to explode on you but it is something to keep in mind.

The consensus seems to be that these are very nice pieces for the price that you will pay. And if you use a little judgment then you can find some good steals indeed! For instance a set of chairs isn’t going to explode on you or fallen to pieces like a glass tabletop might so you might be able to find a good deal on chairs.

That’s what is so tempting about this line of furniture, the price. Sometimes though, prices are so ridiculously low that you can’t help but buy them and you might not even care that they only last a season or two before they start to break down. At that price you can run out and buy new ones every three years and still spend less than you would on more traditional patio furniture! You just have to be careful and really take a look at what you’re buying before you buy it because some of it can be less solid than you would like. So keep that in mind before you purchase.

This means that you are less likely to want to purchase this furniture over the Internet and instead you’re really going to want to take a look at it in a store somewhere. Sit in the chairs and see how sturdy they are. Look at the tables and ask yourself “is this something that’s gonna crack from being outside for eight months?”. You should be able to figure it out fairly easy with a little critical thinking.

So there you have my views on martha stewart patio furniture. At the price you can’t go wrong as long as you realize that you get what you pay for when it comes to this line. So if you’re looking for a long-term quality furniture, you may want to keep looking somewhere else. But if you want something that looks nice for a season or two, by all means go for it.

Before I get into the different furniture available I need to get something off my chest right from the start. I don’t want to dissolution you, but this furniture is quite a bit more expensive then you may expect. Some of their patio furniture is much more expensive than you would pay for regular indoor furniture. Let me give you just one example…

The Woodard Landgrave 82833RG Vienna Glass Top 42″ x 84″ Oval Dining Table is a very nice looking table that will spruce up any deck or patio without a doubt. This table comes right out of their Vienna collection and has a distinctive design that is both durable and beautiful. Now here’s the kicker, this table costs about $1,700.

If you’re not scared off yet, let’s talk about some other pieces. Of course everybody’s deck furniture needs are different but I’m going to move forward on the assumption that you’ll need a basic table and some chairs and maybe a bench or two and possibly some side tables of some sort.

Woodard 190011 Parisienne Round Bistro Table with Mesh Top this is a regular average looking deck table that you’d expect to find from most brands. It is hand formed metal that is blended with very intricate details from their Parisienne collection and it costs just $231 which is a pretty good deal from this company.

Woodard MAY010/MAY088/400010 Briarwood Barrel Dining Chair at $253 this is a nice standard wrought iron chair that you might expect from them. It has many cushion choices to go along with it.

Cantebury Gliding Barrel Loveseat is a fairly standard looking bench that you can come to expect from Woodard. At $531 it’s a pretty good deal as well. It is hand formed metal blended with very intricate details giving this wrought iron collection a sense of style and a sense of taste that makes the Canterbury collection something that people will remember after they’ve left your party.

As you can see from just these three pieces alone, woodard patio furniture is not something you’re going to pick up in the clearance aisle at a home depot type store. But if you’re looking for a touch of class and elegance then you simply cannot go wrong with any piece of furniture from this company and I am sure you will get a lifetime worth of pleasure out of it.

So you’re looking for a deal, am I right? I said that there were two trains of thought when it comes to this sort of thing and there is. One is the traditional train of thought that has held true for many years, in fact for as long as there have been patio furniture! The other train of thought is something that is fairly new and I’ll discuss it as well.

First let’s talk about the old-fashioned train. Back in the day furniture stores only had so much space and they put furniture out seasonally. As soon as the season was up, they had to clear out that furniture that hadn’t been sold yet and replace it with the next seasons furniture. What that meant was that you could find deals on whatever sort of furniture you are looking for, in this case patio furniture, depending on the season.

It’s sort of like Christmas shopping. Right after the Christmas season ends you can find amazing deals and so if you can get away with it, the best time to shop for Christmas presents is right after Christmas. Of course, this isn’t always realistic when you’re talking about children who want their presents on Christmas morning… fortunately patio furniture isn’t like that at all and you can buy at any old time to take advantage of the best deals.

So what are the best times of the year to find deals on patio stuff? Excellent question. Traditionally speaking, the absolute best times of the year to find deals are during the fall and winter seasons. Why is that? Well think about it, when do most people generally use patio furniture? That’s right, during the summer… that’s when people are thinking about it and that is when people want to buy it because it’s nice outside and they’re sitting at home thinking “boy I’d sure like to sit out on my patio right now!”.

Because of that, stores stock their patio lines during the summer, but when the summer is over they’ve got to move that stuff out. That means that the fall season is a great time to find awesome deals. But as fall turns into winter, the stores start to get nervous because anything they haven’t sold yet they absolutely have to get out of there before summer starts again and the new lines are out. That makes winter an even better time to find great deals.

But that’s the old line of thought. What about the second line of thought, the new line…if you will. Well that’s all about the Internet. Today anybody can start a store on the Internet with pictures and videos of great patio furniture and they don’t have to have a showroom with all the stuff sitting out. When you place an order on their website, they take that order and phone it in to the warehouse who then ships your order to you. That means there’s no seasonality involved as they can keep stuff stored away in the warehouse forever.

You may think it would be harder to find a deal without this seasonality driving prices down but you’d be mistaken. In fact you’d be quite surprised to find that you can get some really amazing deals on the Internet year round because there’s so much competition because anybody can start one of these websites; all they need is a relationship with a warehouse which is easily found with a little research.

The only drawback in purchasing online is that you can’t see the furniture before hand. You can’t sit in it to see how comfortable it is and while videos and pictures do a good job, you just never really know. That’s why many people shop in traditional stores to find the models and the brands of patio furniture that they like and then head online to shop around for specific deals. In fact that’s what I suggest that you do.

Finding clearance patio furniture can take a little legwork but is absolutely worth it when you think about all the money you can save. Sometimes you can save over half price… and I’ve even seen certain circumstances were people found 75% off with just a little research. It’s definitely worth it!
